The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music at Monash University is proud to present Linda May Han Oh at Jazzlab.
Linda May Han Oh  first began playing piano and bassoon before picking up the electric bass at fifteen. She went on to study at the W.A. Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) before completing her Masters at the Manhattan School of Music in 2008. Linda has performed with musicians such as Joe Lovano, Vijay Iyer, Dave Douglas, Kenny Barron, Geri Allen, and Terri Lyne Carrington. Based in New York with an active international touring schedule, she is currently the bassist with guitarist, Pat Metheny.
 
Linda is the school’s Jazz Artist in Residence for 2018 and will be giving workshops and recording with  students for a CD release in 2018 as well as performing at Jazzlab.
